В Иране снова ввели запрет на майнинг криптовалют

Как поведал Financial Tribune энергетический холдинг Ирана Tavanir затребовал от майнер полной остановки деятельности майнинг-ферм из-за огромного ими потребления электроэнергии.

В связи с зимним периодом, правительство Ирана опасается сильной нагрузки на электроэнергетические сети и возможного дефицита. Так в холдинге Tavanir уверены, приостановка работы майнинг-ферм поможет избежать аварийных отключений.

По сообщению представителя холдинговой компании Мостафа Раджаби Машхади компания по остановке работы лицензированных майнинговых-ферм началась еще в начале ноября. Только благодаря такому подходу властям страны удалось снизить потребление электроэнергии, которое планируется использовать в зимний период.

В Казахстане произошла подобная ситуация, где правительству государства пришлось ввести ограничение на потребление электричества до 100 мегаватт (МВт). Меры были введены по причине недостатка электричества, который был спровоцирован глобальным притоком майнеров в страну.
